In the jungle of the Bocas del Toro mountains,

In the middle of the tropical forest of the Talamanca mountains rantge, the Naso (Teribe) ethnia, had created for the visitors, a small sample of their way of life.

Wekso is the place, before named as Panajungla, where is the base of the La Amistad International Park, a binational reserve that goes beyond the Costa Rica-Panama border.

There, still survive the ruins of what it was the jungle training center of the former panamanian militaries.

Here, while the militarism has been banned in Panamá, the visitors can spend the day or lodge in a construction that it is a replica of their huts, where they can have meals, or select an "everything included package".

As main attractions, it is possible to hike, with a local guide, a very interesting trail in the Park, through the jungle, and observe the richness of the flora and fauna of the region, or visit the naso communities along the Teribe river, where the small population lives, under a kingdom form of government, unique for this part of the world.
