LOCATION
 ODESEN Project is located at Wekso, headquarters of the La Amistad International
Park and formerly known as Panajungla. Wekso is at the Teribe river shore.  HOW TO GET TO WEKSO To get to Wekso, first is needed to reach Changuinola, the biggest city of the Bocas del Toro province. Flights to Changuinola leave from the domestic Airport of Panamá, Albrook. Aeroperlas and Mapiex Aero have daily one-hour flights from and to the cities of Panamá, David and Bocas del Toro. The alternatives by land are the buses that conect the cities of San José (Costa Rica), David and Panamá, with the city of Changuinola. From Bocas del Toro city, in the Archipelago, it is necessary to take a marine taxi to Almirante and then a bus or taxi to Changuinola. Once in Changuinola, a taxi or a bus bring the visitor to the El Silencio community, in the shore of the Changuinola river, where the Odesen boat is waiting to carry them to Wekso. The trip, up in the river, takes 45 minutes, while the trip back, down with the current, takes only 20 minutes.  |
