Tooning with Vector Graphics

PART ONE: WHAT'S A VECTOR ANYWAY?

We learned that computer graphics come in two flavours, vector and raster. Raster graphics are made up of a whole bunch of little dots called pixels adding to the bulk of the image.

Vector graphics don't need this bulky pixel information and will be much smaller in file size than their raster counterparts, a distinct advantage for web graphics.

Another advantage to vector graphics is that they don't get all jaggie edges but rather remain crisp and clear!
